The Outlet Mentoring Program, in partnership with the Springfield Police Department, is excited to announce the Annual Bridging the Gap BBQ, taking place this Saturday, June 22, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Jaycee Park – 2400
East Monroe.
This year’s event is proudly sponsored by the Springfield Police Department.
The Bridging the Gap BBQ is a FREE event and aims to foster a stronger, more trusting relationship between the community and local police and first responders.
By bringing everyone together in a relaxed and fun environment, they note that they hope to encourage open dialogue and mutual understanding.
